Atlas can handle all your structural issues, eliminating the need to deal with multiple contractors. We offer two proven repair methods-pressed pilings and deep-drilled concrete piers. Other services include mudjacking, drainage swales and French drains.

The Repair Process for Pressed Pilings
At each piling location we will hand dig a hole that is approximately two feet square. Any plants in the way are relocated. Next, hand dug holes are completed and we begin installing the foundation piles. Each foundation piles section is hydraulically driven beneath the concrete foundation, adding as many sections as necessary, to reach bedrock or refusal. When necessary, a High Pressure Water Jet System is used to loosen soils so each piling can reach its' maximum depth, 1/2 inch rebar are then inserted through the pilings to ensure proper alignment.

After all pilings are installed, the leveling process begins. Excess and/or added mortar and caulking will be removed in order to allow the brick to return to their original positions. Elevations will be taken before, during, and after the leveling process.

When all leveling is completed, the holes are backfilled, mortar joints repaired, windows and doors are caulked, concrete replaced, repair any sprinkler system we damage, and plants are replanted. All areas are then washed or swept.

The Repair Process for Drilled Piers
Installing Piers
Atlas Foundation employees will locate pipes and electric wires. Plants will be relocated from the areas where piers are to be drilled. Next, the process of drilling the piers can begin. As the piers are drilled, a small amount of dirt will be kept to do the back filling where necessary. All excess dirt is hauled off. Concrete is poured in all piers.

The Raising Process
After the concrete has cured for approximately seven days, jacks are placed on the piers. Excess mortar and caulking are removed to allow the bricks to return to their original positions. A 6" diameter 5000-PSI concrete block is placed on the pier to support the foundation. The holes are then backfilled. The mortar joints are repaired, the windows caulked, any concrete replaced. Any sprinkler system we damage is repaired and plants are replanted. All areas are then washed or swept.
